On December 12, the Long March-12 carrier rocket lifted off from south China’s Hainan Province on a commercial mission. At Qishui Bay in Wenchang, people gathered before sunrise to witness the launch.
For travelers, watching a rocket launch in person is a special experience. For local residents in nearby Longlou Town, it has quietly become part of everyday life. As the rocket disappeared into the morning sky, breakfast stalls opened and markets grew busy. It was just another ordinary morning.
