Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Moscow would achieve its goals in Ukraine either through diplomacy or on the battlefield.
Speaking to Defense Ministry officials, Putin savaged the previous Biden administration’s stance toward Russia.
He also called European leaders backing Ukraine “piglets” who wanted to facilitate the collapse of Russia.
This comes days after US and European officials met with Ukrainian leadership to try and work through a deal to end the war.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed "signals" coming from Moscow that the Kremlin wants to continue its war through next year.
