As gay hockey drama ‘Heated Rivalry’—starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie—continues to draw in fans with its NSFW romance between two hockey players, a rep for the NHL commented on the show drawing new fans to the sport. They told The Hollywood Reporter Dec. 22, “There are so many ways to get hooked on hockey. In the NHL’s 108-year history, this might be the most unique driver for creating new fans.” The Canadian series on HBO Max is based on Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers’ novels.
