Routh found guilty in Trump assassination attempt




A verdict was reached on Tuesday in the federal trial of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump during a round of golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on September 15, 2024.

Routh was found guilty on all five counts of attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
