Capcom releases Pragmata trailer at Tokyo Game Show

Capcom revealed a new trailer for its sci-fi action title Pragmata during its Tokyo Game Show presentation. The footage highlights the Shelter, a central hub that serves as a base for upgrades and skill enhancements.

One of the Shelter's key features is the ability to create combat devices. Protagonist Hugh can design deadly new weapons and simultaneously "feed" the android Diana abilities, allowing her to hack enemies.

The trailer also showcases several combat sequences, with Hugh and Diana battling hostile robots. Their armored exteriors are bulletproof, but Diana's attacks can expose weak spots for devastating attacks.

Pragmata's story takes players to a future where robots are an integral part of everyday life. Hugh Williams is sent to a lunar research facility that has gone silent after an AI uprising.

Pragmata is currently slated for release in 2026. Originally announced in 2020, the game has faced several delays due to development challenges.
