A new lawsuit claims a song by Grammy winner Olivia Dean illegally copied from one of R&B legend Bill Withers’ most famous hits, “Just the Two of Us.” The suit alleges the song copies a melody from the 45-year-old hit, calling the similarities “striking” and that they “did not result from coincidence,” reigniting the debate over the line between artistic inspiration and infringement. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
