This Sunday (02), a man entered the Escola Deputado Aurélio Campos, in Cidade Dutra in the south of São Paulo, Brazil, with a revolver and shot two military police officers who were guarding the polling place.

A police officer was shot in the head and a graze in the shoulder and is hospitalized in serious condition.  Another policewoman was shot in the abdomen and hand, and her condition is stable.  The police officers were rescued by helicopter and taken to Hospital das Clínicas, in central São Paulo.

The motive for the crime is not yet clear and the shooter has not been identified, and the case is being investigated by the civil and military police and forwarded to the Homicide and Protection of Person Police (DHPP).
