The list of the 10 richest men in the world was released by the Bloomberg Billioners Index, bringing an updated ranking in the year 2023 with the biggest billionaires in the world.

Asia’s richest resident and richest Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, chairman, CEO and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited ranks ninth on the list of the richest men in the world.

In 2022, Mukesh Ambani’s oil giant became the first Indian company to surpass $100 billion in revenue. He has avoided succession speculation by giving his sons key roles: eldest son Akash is chairman of telecommunications arm Jio Infocomm; daughter Isha is head of the retail business; and son Anant works on Reliance’s new energy ventures.
