The list of the 10 richest men in the world was released by the Bloomberg Billioners Index, bringing an updated ranking in the year 2023 with the biggest billionaires in the world.
Mexican businessman Carlos Slim, known in his country as Midas, due to his ability to recover enterprises, occupies the eighth position on the list of the richest men in the world with a fortune of USD 93 billion.
Carlos Slim is also considered the King Midas of telecommunications, he owns, among his companies, Embratel and Claro, in Brazil, in addition to dozens of businesses in Latin America, the United States and Canada.
