On Friday (15), Mexican drug trafficker Rafael Caro Quintero, the most wanted fugitive by the US drug trafficking agency (DEA), and for whom a reward of 20 million dollars was offered, was detained in the Mexico.

Rafael Caro Quintero was wanted for the 1985 kidnapping and murder of DEA agent Enrique Camarena and for other crimes related to drug trafficking and organized crime.

Founder of the Guadalajara Cartel, Rafael Caro Quintero was one of the main ‘capos’ of the 1980s and one of the first to ship drugs on a large scale to the United States.
