This Tuesday (12), the lawyers of Giovanni Quintella Bezerra stated that they will no longer work in the defense of the anesthesiologist.
Giovanni Quintella Bezerra was arrested in the act for raping a pregnant woman during childbirth, inside an operating room, in São João do Meriti, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Civil Police of Rio Janeiro is investigating whether anesthesiologist Giovanni Quintella Bezerra also abused two other patients who underwent surgery on the same shift at the Hospital.
