On Tuesday (23), Mary Costa plus size model and owner of Mary Costa – Footwear and Accessories published on social media a photograph to demonstrate to her friends and fans that her treatment to beat pneumonia is paying off.

“After days with pneumonia. Today I woke up even with a good face. I even took a picture, ”wrote Mary Costa.

Pneumonia is an infection that settles in the lungs and can affect the region of the pulmonary alveoli. Symptoms of the disease include: high fever (above 37.5 ° C), dry or yellowish or greenish cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing. Basically, pneumonia is caused by the penetration of an infectious or irritating agent into bacteria, viruses, fungi and by allergic reactions in the alveolar space where gas exchange occurs. This location should always be very clean, free of substances that may prevent air from contacting with blood.

The illness and a fall Mary Costa suffered that injured her did not allow her to attend Expo Lind’s in Brásilia held in early July, however she was well represented by her daughters Thays and Thayná.
