Additional $100 million pledged to bushfire recovery efforts in Victoria

The Victorian government has announced an additional $100 million in funding to support recovery efforts for the devastating fires that have swept across central Victoria.
This funding is on top of the $28 million previously announced, bringing the total package to $128 million.
The package includes $40 million for primary producers to apply for grants of up to $70,000, $16 million to support power outages, and $12 million for a council support fund.
The fires have destroyed 228 homes, damaged 15 homes, and destroyed or damaged over 450 outbuildings.
