Albanese government promises to be ‘as tough as possible’ on hate groups through new laws

Attorney-General Michelle Rowland answers questions as to whether there will be potential legal challenges which might occur from the new “robust” hate law legislation.
“These are laws that may be challenged, that is the reality,” Ms Rowland said.
“The government stands by our drafting.a
“We stand by ensuring that we are as tough as possible.
“If challenges are brought, we will vigorously defend those.”
