Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Former Liberal senator Hollie Hughes claims Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s refusal to start a Royal Commission into the Bondi attack “smells like four-day-old fish”.
“He’s supposed to be bringing parliament back early to strengthen these so-called hate laws,” Ms Hughes said.
“He will be facing quite a bit of anger not only from the Australian people, not only from the rest of the parliament, except the Greens.
“This is just highlighting now the deficiencies his government has had.”
