Albanese wishes ‘happy new year’ to the ‘best country on earth’

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese wished Australians while paying tributes to those who died in the Bondi shooting.
“Happy New Year, Australia,” Mr Albanese said.
“The joy that we usually feel at the start of the new year is tempered by the old.
“I’m optimistic and determined that in the new year, we will rise to meet the challenges together.
“Hold on to everything that makes us the best country on earth.”
