Arizona lawmakers, AG Mayes push for renter temperature protections

Arizona renters could soon get new protections when struggling with broken air conditioning in summer heat or heating failures during winter cold snaps. On Thursday, state Sen. Lauren Kuby and Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes introduced Senate Bill 1608 that they say would protect vulnerable tenants from Arizona’s extreme weather. Reporter Micaela Marshall has the story.
