Australia’s Senate passes gun reform and anti-hate bills

The Australian Senate has passed both the government’s gun reform and anti-hate bills. The Australian Lower House of Representatives had earlier passed the bills in parliament. The new laws come as the government moves to address gun violence, following last month’s terror attack at Bondi Beach. Roger Maynard has this report for CNA from Sydney.
