Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow said aviation history shows countries shouldn’t turn inwards, even as the rules-based international order comes under pressure. Speaking at the Changi Aviation Summit, he pointed out that the industry grew because countries agreed on shared rules, common standards and mutual trust. Singapore inked nine agreements spanning technology, training and sustainability with global partners at the two-day summit.
