A new school year is here and many families are gearing up for one of childhood’s biggest shifts — starting life in a new school. For some, it’s the leap from preschool to primary. For others, the new term means new routines, new expectations and new pressures to keep up. In the first part of a week-long Back To School special on navigating these transitions for children and parents, CNA speaks Alsen Chanamuto, Schools Engagement Manager at the Centre for Fathering, and Alexandra Primary School principal Teo Ching Ling.
