Bondi Beach massacre was fuelled by ‘darkness and hate’

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley addresses the ‘Light Will Win’ memorial, reminiscing on the Bondi Beach massacre and the “darkness and hate” which occurred.
“This attack took place on the first night of Hanukkah, the festival of lights, a night that should have been filled with joy and hope was instead marked by darkness and hate,” Ms Ley said.
“Many never imagined such a thing could happen here in Australia … the luckiest of lucky countries.”
