Catherine O’Hara’s agency, Creative Arts Agency, confirmed to E! News that the actress battled a "brief illness" before her death on Jan. 30 at the age of 71. No further details were given about the illness or the official cause of death. Catherine was known for her roles in ‘The Studio,’ ‘Schitt’s Creek’ and ‘Home Alone.’ The Emmy winner had previously been vocal about her rare medical condition situs inversus, in which major organs are positioned on the opposite side of where they normally would be.
