CBS News is considering laying off 15 per cent of its current staff, according to variety magazine.
The layoffs are CBS News Editor in Chief & Free Press founder Bari Weiss”s attempt to focus the News unit on to video streaming.
CBS news could begin its layoffs between March and May this year and some staffers have chosen to leave early.
The layoffs news broke after a CBS News producer Alicia Hastey quit the network after accusing it for pressuring staff to "self-censor".
