DANGER TO LIFE Warning issued as Storm Chandra rages on

Storm Chandra continues to wreak havoc on the UK with towns on the east coast of Ireland taking an especially hard beating.

A Danger to Life Flood Warning has been issued in Dorset with residents at a home part being instructed to evacuate their properties as quickly as possible.

Somerset Council declared a major incident following the widespread flooding caused by Storm Chandra, with the Environment Agency telling people to remain vigilant.

A retired couple in Somerset were interviewed about their fears over their home being flooded due to the storm, as they continue to install flood defences around their home ahead of more rainfall.

Clean-up efforts are already underway in Enniscorthy County, Wexford, as the River Slaney’s banks burst earlier this week. New rain warnings for the area have been issued Wednesday.
