‘Destabilised’ Venezuela to see ‘quick improvement’ after US intervention

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright has commented on the US plan for Venezuela following the capture of former president Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
Wright says the Trump administration is “changing the game” on what is happening on the ground in Venezuela.
The Energy Secretary goes on to claim Venezuela has purchased billions of dollars worth of arms from Russia, that they supply oil to Cuba and that the country harbours Hezbollah’s Western Hemisphere HQ.
Wright goes on to claim the country is a “dangerous and destabilised’ place, and with the US controlling oil sales, there will be “relatively quick improvement” in Venezuela.
