As builders work to shore up a NYC skyscraper, the developer is facing a $300 million lawsuit over a separate property. Court records show the lawsuit is tied to allegations of ‘defects and code violations’ at another property in Manhattan that was converted into high-end residences. The lawsuit claims that condos were ‘riddled with defective and unsafe conditions’, were ‘life threatening’ and had roofs and walls that were ‘literally falling apart.’
