Dingoes linked to Canadian backpacker’s death on K’gari euthanised

Dingoes linked to the death of a Canadian tourist on K’gari have been destroyed with more still to be culled in the coming days.
Piper James was found dead last week surrounded by the animals on the Queensland island.
Six dingoes have been killed, and another four are expected to be euthanised after they were deemed a “public safety risk” by the state government.
The first major dingo cull since 2001 is being criticised by the traditional owners of K’gari.
