Doctors back STRIKE over Christmas as union bosses reject Labour plan

The British Medical Association has rejected the government’s new offer. As a result, strikes by resident doctors in England will go ahead as planned.

The offer included a fast expansion of specialist training posts, as well as covering out-of-pocket expenses such as exam fees, but did not include any increases in pay.
