Donald Trump scores massive economic win as tariff revenue explodes 300 per cent

US tariff revenue has climbed roughly 300 per cent under US President Donald Trump, delivering a massive windfall to federal coffers this fiscal year.
In January alone, customs duties hit about $30.4 billion, up sharply from the same month last year.
This has boosted the year-to-date total to roughly $124 billion.
The spike in revenue has become a cornerstone of Trump’s economic agenda, with the administration saying tariffs can help lower the nation’s $38 trillion debt.
The President even proposed using tariff income to fund $2,000 dividend payments to Americans.
All of this comes as the Supreme Court prepares to rule on the legality of Trump’s sweeping tariff powers.
