‘Double standards’: Left in the West stay ‘silent’ on Iran’s brutality

Spiked Chief Political Writer Brendan O’Neill blasts the left for their “hypocrisy” by staying “silent” on Iran’s brutality.
“I feel sorry for them because they are so lost in the maze of moral relativism that they can’t even get excited about one of the most important uprisings in modern times,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.
“We have to temper our excitement with the fact that there are horrible things happening in Iran … but the people there are staggeringly brave.
“The left in the West is silent … their hypocrisy and the double standards have been exposed for the whole world to see.”
