Dow Jones reaches historic milestone after closing above 50,000 points for first time

CommSec’s Ryan Felsman has analysed US markets on Wall Street after stocks hit a historic milestone on Friday, local time.
“The Dow Jones Index is up by 1,207 points or 2.5 per cent to 50,000 points for the first time,” he told Sky News Australia.
“The S&P 500 Index was up two per cent in its best day since May last year, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Index rose by 491 points or 2.2 per cent.”
