Electric vehicle prices to ease in 2026 amid ‘turbulent time’ for car industry

Senior motoring journalist Paul Gover discusses the prices of electric vehicles and why their cost may decrease in 2026.
“Where’re in a really turbulent time, no one really knows the answer,” Mr Gover told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“The federal government, although they’ve set targets and they’ve told us what they want us to do, the car companies are actually reacting to what people are buying, not what the government is telling them to do.”
