A new brain chip developed by Elon Musk’s Neuralink is being described as a game-changer for paralysed patients.
The chip allows users to control devices with their minds, providing hope for those with severe neurological disabilities.
Trials are underway, with 21 people already fitted with the device, including seven in the UK.
Users can train the AI to interpret brain signals and perform tasks like typing, controlling robotic arms, or playing with children.
While promising, larger trials and data sharing are needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
