Rihanna Spotted Heading to César Restaurant in Paris After Céline Dion Concert
By Rodrigo Santos Andrade
Virginia “Ginny” Rountree announced her resignation Monday as director of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, citing personal health concerns. Her final day leading the state’s Medicaid agency will be Feb. 13, ending a short tenure that began with her appointment by Gov. Katie Hobbs in September.
Rountree’s departure comes amid intensifying legislative scrutiny of the agency, which has been at the center of a multiyear fraud scandal involving unlicensed sober living homes. Lawmakers have also pressured the department over significant payment delays that providers say have forced some legitimate behavioral health facilities to close their doors.
FOX 10’s Justin Lum has the details.
