Epstein Files Case: Fiery Exchange as Lawmakers Question Bondi on Epstein Links | World News

A tense and fiery exchange broke out during Attorney General Pam Bondi’s congressional hearing when lawmakers questioned her about Trump administration officials mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Vermont Democrat Rep. Becca Balint tried to ask whether the Justice Department questioned Trump officials about their links to Epstein. Bondi refused to answer directly and told Balint, “Shame on you,” which led to a heated argument.
The situation grew more intense when antisemitism was mentioned, and Balint strongly pushed back, saying her family suffered in the Holocaust. Other lawmakers also attacked Bondi, with Rep. Jesus Garcia calling for her resignation.
