EU TikTok probe: Preliminary findings show platform design in breach of Digital Service Act

The European Commission has found that the design of TikTok’s social media platform is in breach of the Digital Service Act. A preliminary investigation accuses the company of failing to properly assess how addictive some features can be, while disregarding signs of compulsive usage. Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
