Changi Airport handled about 70 million passengers in 2025 — an all-time high that surpassed even pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels. Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow said the number is still growing, amid a global rise in demand for air travel. The country’s air hub will be capable of serving twice the number of passengers when Terminal 5 opens in the mid-2030s. A new exhibition, T5 In the Making, aims to give visitors a deeper understanding of the new terminal’s significance and a glimpse into the extensive planning behind it. Admission to the exhibition, which runs until March, is free. Charlotte Lim reports.
