‘Fantastical notion’: US doesn’t ‘need’ to take over Greenland for security

Chicago Council of Global Affairs Senior Fellow Rachel Bronson claims a Greenland takeover is a “fantastical notion” about the US role in the Western Hemisphere.
“The US does not need to take over Greenland to expand their presence in terms of cybersecurity issues in the Arctic,” Ms Bronson told Sky News Australia.
“Before President Trump, we had very strong relations with Greenland, so we don’t need them to take over the country for those reasons.”
