‘Fat drug’: Ozempic cost slashed after Trump deal

US President Donald Trump boasts of his drug-pricing deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers to bring prices in line with those paid in other developed nations.
“I said, France, your healthcare for prescription drugs is going to go up triple,” Mr Trump said.
“Just as an example, Ozempic is $80 in London, and it $1300 in New York, the fat drug.”
