Superintendent Ross Chivers returns to uniform after 36 years to work as an intensive care paramedic alongside his son Ben Chivers in a first-of-its-kind shift for Western Sydney. Ben, who grew up watching his father save lives, has completed one of the toughest training programs to earn his place as an intensive care paramedic. The father and son duo answer emergency calls together at Blacktown Station, marking the first time a father and son have worked the same shift in this capacity in Western Sydney.
