We learned on Jan. 26 that federal agents have conducted raids at a number of sports bars in the Phoenix area.

The raids were taking place at Zipps Sports Grills. While federal officials did not identify any places by name, they did say warrants were served at 15 locations across the Valley.

"The search warrants were authorized based on information presented to a federal judge and are being executed as part of a criminal investigation into felony violations of federal law," read a portion of a statement released by the United States Attorney’s Office.
