‘Final straw’: Sussan Ley ‘has to go’ after Liberals ‘roll over’ on Labor’s hate speech laws

Sky News host Rita Panahi claims Sussan Ley “has to go” in a scathing assessment of the “weak and flaky” Opposition leader’s poor handling this week on Labor’s hate speech laws which saw the Coalition split again.
“From her numerology frolics to flip-flopping on consequential issues, Ley has a track record for being weak and flaky. And that’s precisely what we got again this week with the Libs rolling over on the so-called hate speech laws. That was the final straw. Sussan Ley has to go,” she said.
“For the Libs it must be clear now, even to the bedwetters, that Sussan Ley’s disastrous reign as Opposition Leader has been marked with gross ineptitude, poor political judgement and the inability to lay a glove on Labor even as the government lurches from one crisis to the next.
“This should be Sussan Ley’s last mistake as leader; she must step down for the good of the party.”
