Florida man kills wife over NFL game, shoots 13-year-old stepdaughter, police say at news conference

A Florida man killed his wife and shot his stepdaughter in the face following an argument over watching an NFL game, authorities say.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a news conference that Jason Kenney, 47, had been drinking and watching Monday Night Football in his shed in Highland City, just east of Tampa late on Dec. 22.
Kenney then went inside his home and wanted to continue watching the game in the living room, where his wife Crystal was, Judd said. An argument ensued and Cyrstal was shot and killed. Meanwhile, Kenney’s stepdaughter "begged not to be shot, according to Judd, but was shot twice. Judd said she is in critical but stable condition.
Kenney ended up in a shed on his father’s old property, Judd said, adding that Deputies tracked him down and when they called for him to come out, they heard a single gunshot. They found Kenney dead inside.
