A surge in foodborne illness outbreaks is weighing on restaurant demand as consumers grow wary of lettuce and other fresh ingredients. Bloomberg News Restaurant Reporter Daniela Sirtori joins David Gura and Christina Ruffini on Bloomberg This Weekend says Sweetgreen has cut its outlook even though its supply chain is not linked to the Cyclospora outbreak, while Chipotle and Qdoba remove jalapeños tied to a separate Salmonella outbreak.
