Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

Former police officer John Breda, who was stabbed twice during an arrest at the Maroomba pub in 2018 and lost a kidney, appeals for blood donations following a mass casualty incident. Breda required 96 bags of blood during his six-hour operation and emphasises the critical need for O-type blood donations as hospital stocks are low during the holiday season. Over 40 people are currently hospitalised from the incident, creating an urgent demand for blood supplies.
