Two weeks after massive storms ripped through northwest Indiana and took the power out on Aug. 11, more than 370,000 Gary-area residents thought they’d have electricity returned. Instead, thousands of Hoosiers are still living in the dark, leaving them to exist between hope and "survival." Between generators and more, here’s what life looks like in Gary today.
