I went back to the favela where I come from — not to visit, not to film poverty, but to celebrate the people who shaped me.

We shut the streets down and turned it into a massive party for the kids and families who live there. Music blasting, food everywhere, games, laughter, and smiles that reminded me exactly why this place will always be home.

Every child deserved to feel seen, valued, and celebrated — not just for a moment, but for a day they’ll never forget. We handed out toys, clothes, food, and over $20,000 in gifts and cash, making sure everyone walked away with something in their hands and joy in their hearts.

This wasn’t about content.
This was about giving back, showing what’s possible, and reminding these kids that where you start does NOT define how far you can go.

The favela raised me.
This was my way of saying thank you.
