GXO Strategies Director Cameron Milner says Taiwan may be concerned with its protection from China with the current US temperament.
“They’ve got an intemperate Trump who is at the moment bumbling around the world,” Mr Milner said.
“We’ve got a weak Albo, a weak Albo is going to stand up for Taiwan? I don’t think so.”
