Gunfire has been heard across Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, as videos on social media show heavy gunfire and anti-aircraft rounds lighting up the sky.

The gunfire was reportedly heard near the palace of the new interim President Delcy Rodriguez.

CNN reports the White House says the United States was not involved in the gunfire.
