Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth leaned into the Christian religious messaging that has characterized much of his Pentagon stint during a speech on Wednesday to troops at a military base in Quantico, Virginia. The secretary quoted Bible verses and detailed new reforms to the military chaplaincy intended to raise their profile within the Pentagon bureaucracy.
